Locality

Recreational complex Aplend is located at the foothill of the smallest and most beautiful mountains in the world, the High Tatras, in the village of Velky Slavkov, under the well known peak Slavkov, only 2 km from Poprad and 7 km from Stary Smokovec.The complex offers an exceptional possibilities for rest and relax, but its location makes it suitable also for the rich sporting activities and the active type of vacation. Complex is close to bus stop (about 150 m) with lines to the High Tatras and Poprad, and about 900 m far from railway station with regular lines to Poprad, Stary Smokovec and Mountain Lake Štrbské pleso. Attractiveness of the place is enhanced by abundance of tourist attractions nearby.

Boarding

In the house there is a kitchen where you can prepare simple meals. There is a possibility to order breakfast, half board or full board. Meals are provided in the restaurant, which is located in the accommodation resort APLEND. The Salaš restaurant offers Slovak specialties, including meals of the European eating style in an attractive environment of a typical Slovak room, a hunting lounge with a fireplace and a summer terrace. For the smallest ones, there is an indoor and an outdoor children's corner.

2-storey house is suitable for 4-12 persons (floor area 95 m2).

Bedroom: 2 x 3-person room + extra bed possible. Bedrooms are situated upstairs. Ground floor includes a living room with 2 sofa beds for 4 persons, TV set/SAT, kitchen with dining area, refrigerator, microwave, double boiling ring and kettle, bathroom/toilet, terrace. Terrace includes garden furniture for 4 persons. Internet connection.

Sport and fun

You can find children playground with slides and arbours with fireplace in the resort. Clients can use nearby football ground.

You can enjoy bicycles, skiing, swimming, horse riding, museums, galleries, tennis, cinemas, ice skating, ice hockey, paragliding and biggest attractions like rafting in Pieniny, hiking in High Tatras and thermal park AQUACITY within 30 km around.

Hiking: hiking tracks – Starý Smokovec 7 km, Hrebienok 8 km, Tatranská Lomnica 14 km, Štrbské Pleso 18 km, trip by cable car to Lomnicky Peak of 2634 of altitude and the nicest view of the world – airing trips – there are lot of wonderfull forest, lakes and mountain lakes nearby as well as a large number of historical places and monuments – cycling – cycling tracks are passing by the village and they will lead you directly to mountain hiking tracks. Lomnica golf court with 18 holes is just some minutes away and provides some of nicest views and perspectives of the world.

Winter activities>: skiing - Starý Smokovec 7 km, Hrebienok 8 km, Jamy -Tatranská Lomnica 11 km, Lopúšna dolina 15 km, Štrbské Pleso 18 km, Ždiar 30 km. Ice skating – Poprad ice stadium 3km.
